Fighting the WRONG Enemy

Reading the Word out loud allows for you to not only focus your eyes on what you are hearing but your ears as well. The word begins to settle but can only take deep root when you live by the Word and not just read and listen to it, this then affects your total being. When the total being is affected you realize that God has begun the process of uprooting some old things of the world and is replacing them with the new. Remember to be patient in process; it takes longer than a night to grasp the newness of Christ.

Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Being a new creature doesn’t mean you stop studying, hearing and living the Word, it means you dig deeper. Why do you dig deeper? Because God desires your total man is free. This means that as long as you live you will be in continual process and the only way to successfully and patiently get through process is to abide in Christ.

For the weapons of are warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds 2 Corinthians 10: 4.  Once we realize and hold to the truth that we are not fighting people, we will have less division and strife, jealous and backbiting and more love. Have you ever been so angry you wanted to cry, only to have a nice person give you a hug or to tell you you’re beautiful? That love in action or words placed an extinguisher to your anger or hurt and ultimately calmed your mind.

How beautiful our walk with Christ would be if we just realized how to continuously walk in His love and to share that same love with others. We would then eliminate a lot of fights and quarrels because our first focus would be our relationship with Christ.
