A Love Eternal (Part 1)

God loved us before the foundation of the world, before we were formed in our mother’s womb and there is nothing we can ever do that will disconnect us from His love, however, we can disconnect ourselves from His presence.

“Count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations; knowing that the trying of your faith worked patience”…  A lot of times we are faced with temptation and if we fail to resist we feel as if we are unworthy of God’s love or even as if can never live complete righteous lives. The enemy knows that we are powerful but we don’t. He knows that all we have to do is take authority over him and we will have the victory. But we fail to exercise the power Christ has blessed us with.

The lies of the enemy tell you, you have time to sit and wallow in your sin or mistake. Staying in this position only causes emptiness and a separation from the presence of Christ. He will talk to you in attempt to draw you nigh to Him, but the more you ignore his voice the more you cause that separation to go deeper. Crying out for help to the Father allows Him pull you back into the secret place.  The enemy tries to cause you to feel depressed or even worthless, when you’ve sinned or fallen short. Take the situation and turn it into a stepping block; you learn what is in your heart when you don’t resist temptation. Now, that’s not a bad thing, because you can then take it to Jesus to receive healing in whatever the area may be.

Repentance is key to restoration and placing yourself back into the father’s arms to rest. You are a threat to the enemy and thus he is motivated to take you out. His goal is to cause you to believe his lies over Christ’s truth. If this can be accomplished you will never walk in your true identity. There’s so much more Christ has for us that we do not have to accept the less instead of waiting for the more. He loves us so much He extends His grace and mercy towards us each new morning! God is truly amazing and no matter what you’ve done or how you’ve fallen short, remember NOTHING can separate you from the love of Christ.
