Struggling Lately?

For every struggle is neither a mere coincidence nor just a chance happening, they are brought on by some decision made or lack thereof…the decision could be as great as your choice in mate.
For sometime I had been chasing after Christ wanting to know who He is and how He loves me, then temptation arose and boy did I give in. Not only did I give in but I caused desires to be aroused in me that I didn’t ever realize were there.
My soul was at war and my spirit man wanted to lead, something like the Presidential debates; whoever is most convincing to the public became the one announced winner of that particular debate. My soul and emotions were on a winning streak, while my spirit man just wanted to lead with more of Christ.
I yearned to get back to the place of prayer, but the man I chose was clinging to my emotions and because I began to cling to his, I began to ignore the call of my Father to show His unfailing love to me. He wanted to strengthen me in who I was in Him but I became more engulfed in the study of this created being, than the creator’s call to heal me.
Every area of my life ultimately began to become effected by these broken decisions I was making. I began wasting my money, time, and thoughts on things that had no relevance to what Christ desired for my life. He says in Jeremiah 29:11, I know the plans that I have for you, plans to prosper you and give you an expected end.
God does not desire to see us sad neither does He use heart break to teach us a lesson- we can learn from them but ultimately our decision are what caused us to go down the path to heart break. God will never send a man to us who does not put Him first, He does not deal in distractions but rather in steadfastness.
My prayer for all of God’s people is that we would learn how to embrace His unfailing love and to rest in Him and the peace He provides. It is only when we allow Him to lead that we can prevail against the kingdom of the enemy.
Remember Gods thoughts are not our thoughts neither His ways our ways; in order to know if a thought or decision is in line with God’s will for our lives we must first pray, seek wise counsel or use the Word of God as a guide. Be encouraged, the struggle is over all you have to do is use the Word of God (your weapon) and take authority in your life and atmosphere… and believe what God says about YOU!
